This order contain some of the more familiar birds, some are considered a nuisance some are very beautiful some are quite rare. Probable the most famous bird was the Dodo long extinct because of over hunting and the introduction of rats. Another notable extinction was the Passenger Pigeon, which was incredibly numerous before its population collapsed.
