Vision for the future.

The future of this web site

I aim to make this the most interesting and useful web site on the internet for birders.

Reports monthly from every country, state, island and as many bird reserves as possible.

I hope to have reports about unusual sightings on unusual behaviour.

Over the next few years some bird species will become extinct others will have to adapt to changing conditions. Please report any unusual behaviour.  The more publicity this attracts the better chance we have of getting some meaningful action from politicians.

Aims

*      To promote interest in birds and the environment.

*      To educate people about the wonders and diversity of birds

*      To encourage appreciation of all the creatures we share this planet with.

*      To provide and share freely photos, video, sound recordings and data about birds.

*      To keep these records and pass them down through generations..

Ambitions

To get photos, video, sound recordings and data about all of the worlds birds.

To provide checklist on every country, and every reserve and birding place in the world.

To have a site which always has something new, relevant and of interest

Aims for 2008

Pass 7000 bird species. Complete all country lists.

Increase membership of all our groups.

Make birding news a voice for common sense in a mad world.

To safeguard all images on world birds, make provision so that once a photo is donated and excepted by WorldBirds, that image will always remain on the site.

To try never to forget to thank the people that help.

I wish everyone that visits this site a good years birding.
