Slug pellets

Slug pellets are the problem not the solution.

	The slug and snail problem is getting worse because of slug pellets.
	Pellets kill slugs after they have reached sexual maturity and have already bred.
	The poisons that kill the slugs are harmful to creatures that eat slugs, particularly Song Thrushes.
	In areas where slug pellets are used the Song Thrushes have disappeared but there are plenty of slugs.
	If slug pellets aren't reducing slug numbers it's time to think and time to act.
	The only people benefiting from slug pellets are the manufacturers and sellers.
	Chemical companies said DDT wasn't harmful to wildlife. They sold it to third world countries after it was proven to be harmful and banned in the West.
	They are now saying they have safer slug pellets. That's safer than the one's they say are perfectly safe.
	Money is the only reason for the sale of these pellets. That's the chemical companies money not yours.
	Please think before you kill anymore wildlife.
	Beleive the chemical companies or your own eyes.

Should they trust us. Can they trust you.
